Jewelry Care

A little regular care keeps the gold clean and the settings ready for wear. Lifetime cleaning and setting checks are included with your Lamora piece.

Clean gently at home

Use warm water, a drop of mild dish soap and a soft-bristled brush. Brush gently around and beneath the setting, rinse well and pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Avoid toothpaste, bleach, chlorine-based cleaners and abrasive powders. Ask us before using an ultrasonic cleaner; suitability depends on the setting and the condition of the piece.

Give each piece its own space

Store jewelry separately in a pouch or compartment so stones and metal do not scratch one another. Keep pieces dry and away from humid bathrooms. For travel, use a jewelry case or wrap each piece separately in a soft cloth.

Take it off for hands-on activities

Remove jewelry before the gym, swimming, heavy cleaning, gardening and contact sports. Put it on after applying perfume, lotion, sunscreen or hairspray.

A loose stone or a changed fit needs a check

Stop wearing the piece if a stone shifts or clicks, a clasp feels loose or a setting catches unexpectedly. Email care@lamorany.com and describe what you have noticed. Do not try to tighten a setting yourself.

Cleaning, resizing and repairs

Lifetime cleaning and setting checks are included. Eligible rings also include one complimentary resize within 12 months of purchase. Shipping to and from Lamora for care or resizing is not included.

We inspect repairs before starting work. If a repair is not covered, we will send you a quote first.
